Operation Mainbrace: NATO and the UFOs of the Baltic

In the vicinity of Denmark and Norway. September 1952. A very interesting series of UFO reports came from the vicinity of the "Operation Mainbrace" NATO maneuvers held in September 1952. The maneuvers began on September 13 and lasted twelve days. According to the US Navy, "units of eight NATO and New Zealand governments participated, including 80,000 men, 1,000 planes and 200 ships ... in the vicinity of Denmark and Norway ...." Directed by Admiral British Sir Patrick Brind, "was the largest NATO maneuver held so far."
